8th of March - Pichilemu to Valparaiso - 231km 4h09
« Back to journal
A nice road with a lot of bends up and down over hilly terrain connects Pichilemu with the outskirts of San Antonio, another big harbor town just below Valparaiso. However the whole area is influenced by heavy wood industry. Clear cutting, heavy machinery and trucks, wind and dust, big wood plants…
In Valparaiso at Martina & Enzo's place we wanted to pick up our banking tool and the maps which I ordered over internet by mid of December. All there and we met Frank from Heinsberg who just prepared with Martina and Enzo the transport of his bike back to Germany and Tobias, who didn't know at that time whether to go up North or South or left or right...:-))
