The 15 km out of the national park went smoothly, so did the 50 km to Esquel. Continuously the wind got stronger. Wow. Our first real experience with the wind in Patagonia. When I thought before that we had wind, pah! This IS wind. You lean in, then you get the hammer from additional gusts in it, two three slams, after that you are awake again. A guard rail appears on the right side and only these peanuts interruptions of each fastening base let the wind slam on your body and your helmet like hell. Keep your bike straightforward, don’t let yourself pushed to the other lane! Partially we were down to 60km/h, one just couldn’t go faster. At around 8 pm we arrived in the small village Rio Mayo, like an oasis in the desert. We found a hotel and also a restaurant, that made our day.

We met this motorbiker from Uruguay already at the last gas station. Now we had to line up again. Like the crazy Brazilian told us a week before: Crazy country, this is an oil country and they don't have gasoline! Ok, normally they have but you always have to line up. To fill up your tank plan always 30 to 45 min waiting! Unbelievable.

We are close to the world's engine...:-)

Looking to the front...

and looking to the back is somehow the same.

and again body shaking gravel. The road construction areas are the worse. Potato size stones.
