On the way to Cuenca
We took a bus an hopped off in the Cajas Nationalpark on a height of 4.000m. We followed a mountain trail to the village Patul.
Locals using mules to carry supplies to their village
From here on approx. 4.200m we took a trail downwards, passing several lagunas in order to reach the road again about 10km further down.
Discussing serious topics..?! :-)
In the "La Casa Vieja" we tried to get the fire working. The "Mama" served us good food, soup and trucha.
