28th of Feb – Panguipulli to Villarrica

My stomach felt better but Ying got problems now. While packing our stuff in the morning I discovered that the luggage rack had two cracks. If I would have noticed before we could have fixed this in this village. But now we wanted to move. So we drove at the lakeshore towards Conaripe which was partially gravel, the corresponding vibration of course not the best for the rack. Clouds hung deep and we couldn’t see anything of the surrounding mountains and volcanos.
When we entered the little town Villaricca we found a mechanic which soldered the rack. Still early we moved on to Pucon which we found too touristy. Too many construction projects for condo/ apartment buildings – who shall buy all this stuff at the hillside of the volcano Villarricca?! So we drove back to the Pueblo Villarricca and found a relatively nice room.
We found a nice tour on the slopes of the volcano Villarrica...first on the touri track...
later cross country with no people at all
A honey disposition
Pure mechanic, a good kids toy. One have to step on the 2 steps and pull the grips and the whole horse, lama, guanaco etc. moves forward with the help of a mechanic joint construction between the body and the legs
