We will cross over the Magellan Straits to Pta Arenas in the hopes of getting a new back tire and fixing my clutch which leaks oil.

Still on the Porvenir side. This small park reminds of the lost cultures. Everywhere the same story on this earth: Wherever the white race got it suppressed all what was before...

These dogs..

We had to kill the time until the ferry left...we asked for coffee in a small store and got one in the living room of an old couple including fishermen stories. The people are very friendly.

We were the attraction in the small harbor :-)

Not only in the harbor. The captain waved us over in his wheel house

Arrival in Pta Arenas. First we thought that it is a bit warmer here. But that was only on arrival. Patagonian summer, wow.

The back tire is ruined after 6.000 km already. My guess is that Ying is too heavy :-))

The clutch leaks oil. No spare parts are availabe in Pta Arenas and also no mineral oil. After consultation of KTM Santiago and also Peter in Dachau we will continue with refilling some compressor oil which has a higher viscosity. The first KTM dealer in the North is about 3.000 km away.

But as long no gras grows on our motorbike I think all is ok. :-)
