20th of July - Taganga to Los Angeles - 46km 1h11

The Tayrona National Park is crap in my opinion. By far too expensive and more than 100 boats arrive daily with loads of tourists who seek a lonely (??) dream spot...

So, we continued the coastal road another 3km and found our personal paradise outside of the National Park: Los Angeles.
Yes, also some people here but no tourist boats. A very peaceful place with little infrastructure. Mama cooks, toilets and a shower to wash the salt off.

...and one can make friends easily :-)

As it is with paradises...it was so hot during the night that I woke up in my own "juice". When I stepped out of the tent I discovered that the thundering sea was only a couple of meters away...a bit too close to the tent

Leaving paradise and seeking for some cooler climate...

...in Minca, a bit up in the mountains.

These little artists. Hummingbirds in action. More than 40 different species exist in the Santa Marta region.
