14/15th of April - La Hig. to Samaipata + to Cochabamba - 380km 8h40

The morning after - joined break-up

The first 40km hardcore in fog and drizzle and the earth track was like soap

We left Samaipata the next morning already. We wanted to move on. What thought that the road to Cochabama (main connection between Santa Cruz and La Paz!) is all paved. It is not. A 140km hardcore stretch over a 4.000 pass thru the mountains...with cold rain, drizzle, fog and driving on soap. Lucky we that this was not topped by snow.

The fogdrizzlerainshit part :-))

Some sun...made my fingers alive

Late in the evening and in the darkness we arrived in Cochabamba. As usual a horror with traffic, not knowing where you are, noise, dirt, crazy drivers...and one should still find a nice hostal. We got a real shit one. The next morning we checked out at 8am and changed to a nicer one.

Cochabamba - also a busy city. Despite that internet is a real headache.
