11th of April - Sucre via Villa Serrano towards La Routa del Che

Not planned but coincidentally Dana and Felix left the same morning towards Villa Serrano or better La Higuera where Che Guevara found his peace.
Dana didn't feel good that day so we took it also easy and we drove more or less together in the same direction

Our lunch break w/o lunch in the restaurant. Only Coke; for lunch it was too late. Sometimes strict in Bolivia. But no problem, we had our own food and especially me, I anyway cannot take the meat dishes.

Here we met also Paul from Samaipata who had 4 tourists in his jeep. He drove a couple of years ago from Alaska to Bolivia with a motorbike...and got stuck here. He recommended strongly the Hostal "Los Amigos" in La Higuera, owned by a French couple. And he told me three times: Go for it, go to Alaska with the bike! :-)

Arrival in Villa Serrano, a small village in a river valley, already late in the afternoon. No chance to make it up to La Higuera on an earth track 150km further up into the mountains.

The children of the village gathered cautiously...interruption of the daily routine :-)

Joint decision: We will stay here for a night in this friendly village.

Later we found our "Gran Hostal Tierra" and one "restaurant" in the village center. Dana stayed with tea in bed.

This - I would say - is stolen. But how comes that the "Bremer Stadtmusikanten" are here??

The next morning we left alone Villa Serrano towards La Routa del Che. Dana still didn't feel well.
